Tom B. Davidson

PGA Director of Instruction

Tom Davidson, is a 29-year, Class A, PGA of America Professional, and has been working in the golf industry for more almost four decades. A multiple award winning professional, he has been recognized for excellence in Teaching the game of golf, Junior Golf Leadership, and Golf Shop Merchandising.

A native of Logan Utah, Tom earned his bachelor’s degree at Utah State University in 1988 where he was also a member of the varsity golf team.  He coached Division 1 college golf at the University of Wyoming with primary responsibility over the women’s team. Tom was selected as the High Country Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1990.

Tom’s coaching philosophy focuses on helping players build the technical skills needed to achieve their goals, step by step, at their own pace. The technical skill is based on what the best players in the world are doing. While being able to strike a golf ball solidly is important, we learn to swing so we can play the game. On-course strategy and mental focus will go hand in hand with improving your technical skill.
